Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms govern your use of the L2Family.net website, game servers, account panel, and related services (together "Services"). Use of Services constitutes acceptance of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any other server rules posted on the website or Discord.

2. Ownership and License

Server Content: All content, features, and functionality of the Service (including game data, characters, items, and accounts) are the property of L2Family.net or its licensors. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

In-Game Items: You acknowledge that you do not own the account, characters, or virtual items associated with the Services. These are granted to you under a limited, revocable license and remain the property of L2Family.net.

3. Accounts and Security

You must provide accurate information when registering. You are solely responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from shared or compromised accounts.

4. Age Requirement

Services are intended for users aged 13 or older. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Services and agree to these Terms. If we become aware that a user is under 13, we reserve the right to terminate their account.

5. Payments and Refunds

Payments made to L2Family.net are considered purchases for virtual goods/benefits, not non-refundable donations. Payment processing is handled by third-party providers.

• All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where explicitly required by the law of the governing jurisdiction.
• Virtual items have no monetary value outside of the Service.
• Benefits purchased are subject to forfeiture if the associated account is suspended or permanently banned due to a violation of these Terms or game rules.

6. Rules & Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is strictly prohibited and may lead to warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans without refund:

• Cheating/Exploiting: Using bots, third-party software (except whitelisted ones), exploiting bugs, or modifying the client beyond intended use.
• Real Money Trading (RMT): Trading accounts, characters, or in-game items for real-world currency or other non-L2Family.net services.
• Harassment/Scamming: Abuse, harassment, or real-world threats against other players or staff.
• Any activity that violates server rules, the spirit of fair play, or local/international law.

7. Content & User Conduct

You are responsible for content you post (e.g., chat, forum posts). Do not post illegal, hateful, or copyrighted content. We may remove user content that violates rules or is reported, at our sole discretion.

8. Service Availability and Disclaimer

Services are provided "as is" and "as available." Downtime, maintenance windows, and unexpected outages may occur. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or error-free operation. We are not liable for gameplay progress or virtual item loss due to server issues, hacks, or bugs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, L2Family.net disclaims all warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Services.

9. Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms or for conduct detrimental to the Service. You may close your account following the instructions in the Account Panel. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any previously made purchases.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless L2Family.net and its staff from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on the site. Continued use of the Services after such notice constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of GERMANY, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in DRESDEN, GERMANY.
